Dresses--To Buy or Not to Buy

I'd really like to have a new dress for the honeymoon. Something cute and flirty, preferably a "little black dress," but something that I could definitely use often.  I've been browsing around online and around town, and have found some options...but I just don't know if I should buy.  I do have a few other cute dresses I could just use instead, but they aren't new, which isn't as fun.

So, here are my top three:
Plus Size Career Dresses Short Faux-Wrap Dress at Chadwicks.com
This dress is from Chadwicks and its $48.98 with shipping. This one would be really veristle--I could wear it out on dates with Peter, dress it down with sandals and wear it as an everyday dress, and also it could be professional enough to wear to work.

Round Neck Short Sleeve Dress
This one is so cute! It would be $44 with shipping. I really love that it's chiffon, and the seller said they would make it custom for me too. I'm a little concerned about it being made in Shanghai because of the language difference and hoping the sizing would come out right. I also don't think its quite as flexible as the first. It would definitely work for dates, and possibly work, but I think its a little too dressy for just everyday wear. But it is still adorable!

Finally, the third dress is from Charlotte Russe. I looked online but they don't have a picture of it. It's $32, black satin, comes just above the knee, has one shoulder with about an inch wide strap and the other is spaghetti strap, and has some silk flowers on the inch wide strap. Peter saw this one and loved it, I really like it but I don't know if I love it. A definite plus is that I was able to try it on first, unlike these other dresses.

Other things to consider: I'm moving to Summerville, SC in a few months and they have loads of summer dresses that are very affordable, I have a very casual black dress already, and I should probably be saving my money for more important things.

So readers, what's your opinion? Which do you like best? Should I even buy a dress?

The first one seems like the most logical option. Versatile, cute, and trendy. Lots of options with it.

And for what it's worth: even though you may have more clothing options in SC, you might not have the money to spend once you get there. Personally, I was glad I had bought a couple cute outfits before I got married because afterwards, there wasn't a whole lot of money left over for "fun" stuff. Come to think of it, there still isn't. LOL

Just my two cents! :)

I absolutely LOVE that 2nd dress, but I have to agree, I'd be nervous about buying it from out of country. You can return one to Chadwicks, no problem. I also wouldn't be afraid to get something with color. Unless you have a lot of black tie events to go to, I'd spring for something I wouldn't normally wear. But that's just me!

Anne has a very valid point. If you want it, buy it now.

The second one is darling!!!
It looks perfect for a honeymoon.
I think if you buy it you'll find that you can wear it more than you thought. Simply darling! :D
