Red Envelope Day

To all of you who agree with this:

"Get a red envelope. You can buy them at Kinkos, or at party supply stores. On the front, address it to:

President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington , D.C. 20500

On the back, write the following message.

This envelope represents one child who died because of an abortion.
It is empty because the life that was taken is now unable to be a part of our world.

We will mail the envelopes out March 31st, 2009.

Put it in the mail, and send it. Then forward this event to every one of your friends who you think would send one too. I wish we could send 50 million red envelopes, one for every child who died [in the U.S.] before having a chance to live.

It may seem that those who believe abortion is wrong are in a minority. It may seem like we have no voice and it's shameful to even bring it up. Let us show our President and the world that the voices of those of us who do not believe abortion is acceptable are not silent and must be heard."

(taken from the facebook event, also visit www.redenvelopeday.com)

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: I'm not going to debate if abortion is right or wrong.

I don't have time right now; my life is WAY too busy. I simply want to get this information out to my readers who already are pro-life. You can comment respectfully, as usual, but if I feel that anything is leading to a debate I don't want to have on my blog right now, then I'm going to delete those comments.  Please don't be offended if I do, its not that I hate you or anything, I just need to keep this stress-free!

So, if you agree with me and want to send a message to President Obama, please mark your calendars!

I hope you don't mind. I have advertised this on Facebook and several other venues now and I used the picture you have posted for it of the heart in the snow. I figured it is all for the cause!!

The heart in the snow isn't actually my picture, I found it through a google search, so you don't need to ask me! :-) Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I will send a red envelope! Thanks for posting this info! Being a new mom myself, my heart breaks for all those lives lost. There are many, many baby angels in heaven.
